A unique mix of old-fashioned junkyard and ongoing art installation, Building REsources offers a huge selection of material to the community. We owe our uniqueness to the fact that we are the only salvage yard supplied exclusively with donations from the community.

Materials for the Future Foundation

Helping Northern California communities create jobs in the recycling, reuse and remanufacturing industries.
The Materials for the Future Foundation (MFF) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 by a group of San Francisco Bay Area funders and recycling advocates.
MFF provides a much-needed nexus between the environmental and community economic development fields, and believes that a sustainable economy is built upon the efficient reuse and recycling of materials and community-based enterprise development.
